The Joy of Etsy Treasuries

It seems as though Etsy Treasuries are pretty popular at the moment! I've shopped on Etsy for a long time but never tried a treasury of my own until now. I created one for morigirl and one for dolly kei, though I made them a little more structured than traditional treasuries. Each horizontal row has the key ingredients for a coordinate, although it would be up to the buyer to find more accessories and layers, especially for dolly kei outfits. Considering how many layers both of these fashions typically have, limiting each coordinate row to only four pieces was pretty challenging. Take a look for yourself!

I'll post more treasuries in future if everyone likes these-- maybe ones for lolita and natural kei!

  3. I saw these the other day and thought they might be cute for Dolly kei or mori girl... although I could see them worked into Lolita, too.

    I want to buy one, but they're made for children, so I'm worried about the size...

  4. Those collars are so cute! I would recommend asking the seller for measurements, though XD I agree that they would work really well with dolly kei or morigirl!

    I made a collar similar to them as a gift for a friend of mine... I wish I had taken pictures of it!

    Isn't Etsy awesome? I think I need to spend *less* time there for the sake of my bank account. haha

  9. URGH! Love them! I can actually fit that dress in your Dolly Kei fashion treasury - the black bodice and paisley cage skirt portion. I'm tempted but it's not a top priority right now. Please, do a Natural-Kei and Lolita one too! That'd be awesome.

  10. Isn't that dress amazing? Vintage clothes have so much personality ;o;

    I actually just finished the classical lolita treasury and the natural kei treasury and I'm pretty happy with them! I'll post them after a normal entry (don't want to bombard everyone with too much Etsy haha) XD

  11. This isn't related to your post, but I was looking through your Flickr and noticed that you own Meta's Revival Bouquet OP and JSK (well, first I noticed that you have an amazing wardrobe). Would you ever consider doing a review of the two pieces? They're so beautiful, but it's rare to see anyone wearing them. The JSK is especially intriguing to me. Is it shapeless with that unusual silhouette? What about that huge swath of lace at the hem? Is the cape-y bit at the collar detachable? Etc...

  12. I have two Antique Bouquet pieces and one Revival Bouquet piece (the jsk you mention)! It's one of my favorite Meta series of all time XD

    I think a lot of your questions about that particular jsk can be answered in my One Dress Many Ways post because I use that jsk to illustrate the the point. It's a surprisingly versatile piece!

    However, it might be nice to write a post specifically about the various incarnations of the Bouquet series... you've made me think :33

  13. Thank you for the reply! :) I have seen that post, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the JSK and the series in general. I'm always fighting with myself as to whether or not I should buy the Revival Bouquet JSK or the Antique Bouquet Bustle OP. The JSK looks so much more interesting and unique, but I'm afraid that the high waist would be unflattering on my larger bust-size.
